Directing You to Successful Academic Publishing

Moderator:
David W. E. Cabell, Founder, Cabell Publishing, Inc.

You’ve done all the painstaking research. You’ve spent countless hours composing a perfect manuscript. Now what?

If you are looking for an academic journal to publish your manuscript, Cabell’s Directories can help you. With thousands of scholarly journals being published, finding the right one for your particular manuscript may seem like an insurmountable task. Join our discussion and see how Cabell’s Directories can assist you in selecting those journals which are most likely to publish your manuscript. We currently produce Directories of Publishing Opportunities in the following fields: Accounting, Economics and Finance, Management, Marketing, Educational Curriculum and Methods, Educational Psychology and Administration, Educational Technology and Library Science and Psychology and Psychiatry. Come see why we have been the “Professor’s Guide to Success” for over 30 years.

The presentation will include:

  • What is the Directory?
  • How will it help you publish?
  • A demonstration of our online database
  • A question and answer session

David W. E. Cabell founded Cabell Publishing, Inc. in 1978. The idea for the company grew out of a discussion with a colleague regarding how to help professors publish in order to meet the requirements of various accrediting associations. Now the company produces directories of publishing opportunities in eight academic fields. Dr. Cabell received his D.B.A. from Kent State University. He has taught management and marketing courses at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Lamar University and McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He recently retired from McNeese State University and is now devoted to the continuous improvement and expansion of Cabell Publishing, Inc.
