Take the Technological Mystery Tour: Web Resources Authors Can Really Use
Saturday, June 26, 8:30 - 9:30 am, Chippewa

Presenter: Barbara Waxer, Freelance Author

Is your virtual life as muddled as your real one? Don’t know cloud computing from a mind map? Can Google Scholar get you tenure or published faster? What about bookmarking sites, note-taking software, or data mining the deep Web? Should you bother upgrading to Office 2010 and will you ever use a Web app? In this session, I’ll introduce you to several hot technologies that might improve the quality of your research, teaching, or writing life.

About the Presenter:

Barbara Waxer is a freelance author. She writes and edits primarily for Cengage Learning in intellectual property, Web, Adobe, and Microsoft products.
